GROWER'S CLUB
Grower's Club is a medium to motivate our growers to explore and experiment with their creative ideas in creating experimental teas. When any tea enthusiast signs up for the club, it means they are directly supporting our growers to do something creative.
As part of the club, each of our creative grower will work on an exclusive specialty tea which will be a truly grower's selection.
Stepping out from the regulars, a large leaf oolong made using a mix of three cultivars of Camelia Sinensis, Assamica Var. The dew droplets accumulated tender buds and leaves were plucked early morning. The leaves undergo a mix of indoor and outdoor withering followed by hand-shaping and natural oxidation for a certain period of time which develops the flavor of this tea. The buds and large tippy leaves produce a mellow tasting liquor with beautiful floral notes of autumn flowers.
Petrichor is an experimental batch oolong tea and is only available until the stock lasts. This tea is a collaborative work of Folklore Tea and our very talented tea artisan, Mr. Birinci from Naharkatia, Assam.
Season: Autumn 2020, Total quantity made: 2 kgs

PETRICHOR
In a distant land where the sun rises,
And a light mist decends after days of waiting.
Little pearls of Parijat bequeathed to the earth the night prior,
That is when I spread my wings of nostalgia.
Some say I smell like night jasmine,
Others say I smell like earth
I am a bit of both, I am Petrichor
What our folk say
While searching through different websites trying to buy white tea, I found Folklore. I never tried white tea earlier but heard so much about it from a friend who has a good collection of teas. I'm not someone who likes too much caffeine so for me, no tea could've been better but this! Plus, this tea stands so true to its name and the poem - FIRDAUS. The taste, the visual appearance has blown me away. Buying this again!
If you're new to the word of tea like me and don't know where to start from, then these assorted tea samples are for you. Exceptionally local, chemical free with great soothing taste. All were amazing but my favourite were Rajgarh Golden Tips and Highland Black Curls. If you're trying to find or acquire a taste in teas, this tea sampler pack gives so much of variety at such low cast. I wanted to have a sustainable lifestyle with conscious consumption choices when I found folklore, can't be happier. Give it a try and you'll be thankful!
I got four variants of folklore’s handcrafted tea and I love it so much and its so good that i am serving it to all my guests instead of the traditional milk tea. Its that good! They delivered everything they promised. As soon as am finished I am ordering again. Also, they smell amazing!
